podstow converts text into podcast episodes for your personal listening. This page explains how to delete your podstow account and the data associated with it.

How to delete your account

You can delete your account yourself, in the app or on the web:

• In the app: open Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm.
• On the web: sign in to your account settings and choose Delete account.

Deletion takes effect immediately and cancels any active subscription. If you can't sign in, email support@podstow.com from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you; we may ask you to verify your identity first.

What we delete

We delete your account and the data tied to it from our active systems: your email address and sign-in details, your generated podcast feed, your episode list and listening history, and any assistant (AI app) connections you authorised.

What may be retained, and for how long

• To convert the same article efficiently for everyone, the audio and transcripts we generate are stored once and shared (deduplicated) across every account that requested the same content. A file that is still shared with another account stays available to them and is not linked to you; a file that only your account ever referenced is removed shortly after deletion.
• Copies in automated backups may persist for a short time before being purged.
• Operational logs are retained for up to 90 days.
• Payment records held by our payment processor (Stripe) are subject to their own legal retention requirements.
• Messages you've sent us (support email, in-app feedback) may be retained for our records.
